“Terra is a great classroom.”

“I think we all know that. The planets in this Solar System are classrooms and we pass from one classroom to another classroom. Simple.

“Pupils have come to learn many lessons. They pass from grade to grade, through countless Initiations, through countless apparent deaths, when they cast off gross physical limitation for a time and travel to a more subtle plane to learn, then to return again to benefit from their previous experiences.”

“When you die, you go to the exact plane that you deserve to go to and there you go on learning. You go on learning, you go on giving service, then you come back on to this Earth again with limitation and you die again, you go to a plane again and you go on learning again.

“So you see there’s not one of you, there’s at least two of you. There’s a part of you which does many things in a subtle body on a subtle plane and there’s a part of which does many things in a physical body on a physical plane.

“And every plane is interconnected, one with another. So you reincarnate, not only on this Earth in a physical body, but you also reincarnate on the subtle planes. Some people call it—wrongly call it—the spirit world, but it’s a subtle plane of existence.

“So you see you’re going through two sets of reincarnations now. You might think—and I believe you will think—that when you are dead, when you go through the Initiation called death, and you go to a plane, another plane; you will look upon this life as the sleep state, because the other plane will be very, very much more real to you.

“It will be a plane, a physical plane, by the way, quite as physical as this—only that might come as a shock, I want to really push this home—quite as physical as this. The big difference is that it will be a physical matter of a different vibration.

“Let us suppose hypothetically that we can get two combs and put them together. They might fill up say, six square inches in space. Let us just suppose these combs are so perfectly made that we can interlock the teeth of the combs in like this, so that they only fill up, say three square inches of space—and that’s exactly what’s happening.

“The spirit world if you want to know where it is and what physical position it is, it’s right here in this room and in all rooms. It’s on Earth and runs through all the Earth. The difference is, though, it’s matter of a different vibration. We might quite conceivably, we do not know, we might quite conceivably be sitting beneath what appears to be a great sea on the spirit realms or on the more subtle realms, and that wouldn’t affect us at all.

“People who are clairvoyant have seen, and there is no doubt that they are absolutely correct, they have seen discarnate entities actually walking in our midst, and they have seen temples and huge buildings which seem to be very much more real and very much finer and very much nicer than anything on this Earth.

“And there is no doubt about it that these people are correct in their assumption. There isn’t any doubt. Anybody who’s visited these other planes at all, in a projected state, know this.

“Communication with people who live there…this, of course, is possible. And the people who live on these planes tell us that they lived on Earth and this Earth was…is very gross and coarse in comparison with the other planes.

“So you’re not only going through one system of reincarnation but two, because you’re reincarnating off and on another plane, too, you see? Well, you do now, anyway!”
