“It seems to me that we are only at the threshold of a new spiritual epoch.” ‐ Carl Jung

Underlying every aspect of the profound change our world finds itself now experiencing is one essential, unifying thread: that it is humanity which is in crisis. We have lost our sense of identity, of who we are and of what this existence called Life is really all about.

However, we can take some solace from the observation of Carl Jung more than sixty years ago when he wrote: “It seems to me that we are only at the threshold of a new spiritual epoch.” In much the same vein, his long‐standing and no less brilliant friend Albert Einstein, similarly observed “that the religion of the future will be a cosmic religion…”

Both these revelations coincided with a vision by the Bulgarian mystic, Beinsa Douno, as he lay dying. Falling into a trance he prophesied that in the coming decades Earth would be swept by waves of cosmic energy bringing a profoundly deep sense of morality that our world had collectively lost for millennia.

With these prophecies in mind, coming from three highly revered intellects of the last century, it should come as no great surprise that in 1958 a remarkable spiritual text was introduced that gave a profound cosmic perspective of our place within a living Universe.

That it came from the Master Jesus operating from the planet Venus further defined this new spiritual epoch, in which quantum science is revealing alternate realms of existence beyond this physical dimension – something, of course, which the yogis have known for millennia.

This mystical text, known as The Twelve Blessings, is no doubt precisely what Jung, Einstein and Douno had perceived, taking humanity beyond all limited preconceptions about ourselves and our place within the Cosmos.

Much more recently but in a similar vein the late movie critic, Roger Ebert, shared his own experience the day before he died.

As his widow, Chaz, recalls: “The one thing people might be surprised about – Roger said that he didn’t know if he could believe in God. He had his doubts. But toward the end, something really interesting happened. That week before Roger passed away, I would see him and he would talk about having visited this other place. I thought he was hallucinating. I thought they were giving him too much medication.

“But the day before he passed away, he wrote me a note: “This is all an elaborate hoax.” I asked him, “What’s a hoax?” And he was talking about this world, this place. He said it was all an illusion. I thought he was just confused. But he was not confused. He wasn’t visiting heaven, not the way we think of heaven. He described it as a vastness that you can’t even imagine. It was a place where the past, present, and future were happening all at once.”

This, in truth, is the greater reality humanity is evolving into, even though the majority of mankind is oblivious to this revolutionary transformation now unfolding. However, it is not inevitable for all.

For what Beinsa Douno also foresaw is our own individual and urgent need to purify ourselves in order to withstand this higher cosmic vibration.

Without such self-purification of thought and action – and its subsequent raising of spiritual vibration, at some point we will simply be unable to remain on this planet and will be re-born elsewhere upon another, less evolved world. And it is for this second reason that “The Twelve Blessings” were also given.

For besides its deeply mystical and poetic text, conveying a far greater sense of the living cosmos, lies a beautiful spiritual practice, the experience of which can bring about such essential purification.

It is this cosmic awakening – this spiritual unfolding – that most completely explains our primary purpose in life – to merge more and more into the Cosmic Whole, shattering past misconceptions about God and the Universe that have been handed down for generations.

For a New Age and a new cosmic spirituality, as indeed foreseen by prophets both ancient and modern, is now being birthed upon Earth, and we are all here to help make it happen.

Indeed, it is the very reason that we are here at all and now is the time for each of us to fully embrace it.
