The Twelve Blessings is an excellent practice that we can use to send out energy and help the world. It is also our duty to help others as much as we can. 

In his booklet A Cosmic Message of Divine Opportunity, Dr. George King says:

“It is a certain fact that all energy which man uses, either for mental function or to build and regenerate the cells of his body, is the complete responsibility of the individual user. The Karmic pattern of each individual is formed by the way this energy is used. So important does this use become that, in these days, laziness, procrastination and the general disinterested, lackadaisical attitude adopted by the majority towards the well-being of their fellow travelers through life becomes, not only a weakness, but a serious crime.”
