In an explanation of this sentence, Dr. George King said:

“That sentence suggests something which to some people is very easy, but to the majority of people is well nigh impossible. It’s suggesting a certain magical ritual, namely the radiation, or projection, of an energy called love in its pure sense. And if the energy called love is, indeed, sent out in its pure sense, and it’s not tempered at all by emotion, or it’s not tempered at all by like or dislike—because love isn’t like, neither is it dislike—and it’s not colored in any way, but sent out in a pure essence, backed by the right motive, it will answer the problems which face mankind today, by itself.”

Practising The Twelve Blessings gives us an opportunity to focus solely on sending out energy through the blessings and prayers. We can detach from our petty likes and dislikes, and send out pure love.
