In the prayer at the end of the Seventh Blessing it says:

Oh Mighty Creator,
Let the Wondrous Beams of Your Majestic Power
Flow through all the children upon the Earth—
   this very moment.
So that they may reach upwards and realise
The Divinity of their heritage.

Reaching upwards will help you to manifest the potential for greatness within you.

What can you do to reach upwards and realize the divinity of your heritage?

One way is to think about God more.

Of course just thinking about God with your conscious mind will not reveal to you the universal oneness of spirit, but it will help you to attune yourself with higher “mind” i.e. more elevated and inspired thoughts.

In time, thinking about God and what you really are will lead you deeper and deeper within, so that you can develop your own latent powers of intuitive realization.

When you do this, you can begin to “reach upwards” in its highest form, to receive high inspiration through meditation.

Master of Yoga Dr. George King described this state as one in which you bathe your soul in the light of the Spirit within. And in this state you certainly would realize the divinity of your heritage…

Let us all take the opportunity to think about God more this week – and to act upon our dawning realization in service to others.
