In his lecture The Difference Between the Mystic and the Occultist, Dr. George King explains that all of us have a greater responsibility than we have ever had before to help our world:

“…people with almost any enlightenment, people with the right heart, people with the unselfish outlook, people who want to serve, can command greater power than they could before. Therefore their responsibility is greater. Therefore, they should serve all the more.”

The more we help others, the more we perform spiritual practices, such as The Twelve Blessings, the more we are meeting our responsibility.
