Focus on your progression
While Service should always be our top priority, we should never unduly neglect our own spiritual progression. In fact, we should do something each day to work towards this.
“Don’t let your mind be cluttered up with things which are no use to your progression. Learn anything which might be of help no matter what it is, whether it’s how to run an off-set machine, how to bandage your finger, how to put a splint on, how to give healing, how to pray, how to do a drawing, how to write a poem, how to paint a picture. Learn these things but keep the mind—or the brain—as uncluttered as possible.”
– Master of Yoga, Dr. George King
Practicing The Twelve Blessings each day will not only be of great benefit to the world, but it will also be a time, each day, when your mind is focused on Service, which will lead to a raising of your consciousness, which will help you in your progression.
